Snap x Corazón Lens Studio Workshop

I had the opportunity to co-lead a 4-day AR workshop with Jonah Cohn at Corazón Community Services in partnership with Snap’s philanthropy team. The program introduced local teens to the creative and technical process of designing, building, and publishing their own Snapchat Lenses. Each day combined hands-on instruction in Lens Studio with time for students to experiment, iterate, and put their own spin on the tools we explored. I also shared guidance on how to design engaging and thoughtful AR effects, encouraging participants to sketch out their concepts before diving into development. Midway through the week, we visited the Snap Chicago office, where students got to share their projects and connect with Snap team members. It was a rewarding experience to help these young creators explore AR as both a creative outlet and a potential career path.
